Jana Castleberry is a Health Planning Coordinator for the Office of Primary Care, Center for Health Innovation and Effectiveness, Oklahoma State Department of Health.  Ms. Castleberry serves as project manager for Oklahoma for the National Governors Association Health Workforce Policy Academy and the Workforce Workgroup of the Oklahoma Health Improvement Plan. She facilitates stakeholder engagement and strives to achieve meaningful collaboration by connecting Oklahoma’s thought leaders with expert consultants and evidence-based practices. Ms. Castleberry is currently managing the development and implementation of new health workforce data strategies for the Office of Primary Care, including improved processes for statewide primary care assessment and health professional shortage area designation. Prior to joining the Oklahoma State Department of Health, Ms. Castleberry worked at the national level to establish aligned policy agendas and strengthen collaboration between national and state partners working to improve access to primary care.
